03/21/17 - showed a wider stance with good balance in the box as he stayed back and drove the ball deep to center on his way to his 3-for-3 day at the plate. Runs the bases with intent. Turned on another gear rounding second on both of his triples. Athletic. Makes most of the plays, fields the ball out in front. Throws to the bag were accurate. FSU recruit.

10/16/16- Vanderbilt recruit. The athletic 6-foot-1, 200 pound IF/RHP showed a short and simple line drive swing from a wide and balanced base. He was very consistent in his two rounds of batting practice, consistently finding the barrel resulting in balls jumping off the bat going from gap to gap. Defensively, he shows a lot of quick twitch actions while also being able to stay under control to the baseball. On the mound, he showed an athletic, quick arm with a feel for the changeup. The fastball ranged from 87-88 mph and the change up was 77-78 mph.
5/21/16- Vanderbilt recruit, currently ranked No. 30 in Florida’s 2017 class, No. 95 overall. 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame, athletic build, proportional strength. Primary position player but shows upside on the mound as well. Offensively, was one of the top hitters at the ProCase, showing an overall advanced plate approach. Hits from a balanced setup, advanced rhythm and timing in stride/load, aggressive yet maintains balance throughout. Relaxed, athletic hands, generates bat speed and barrel whip through the zone, strength in swing, flat path with extension after contact. Registered 93 mph exit velocity with wood. In game, smoked a line-drive single up the middle on an 88-mph fastball. Athletically, ran a 6.74 laser-timed 60.. Defensively, shows soft, reliable hands, fields the ball in rhythm; athletic arm with plenty of carry across the infield at 86 mph. Also was clocked at 87 mph from the outfield. … Athleticism and arm strength translate on the mound. Works from a full wind-up, quick, highly athletic arm from a high-3/4 slot. Fastball sat 88-89, mostly straight, inconsistent release point. Also flashed 75-mph slurve.
8/22/15- 2017 RHP 6'1"175 Cooper sat 86-89 FB during the game. Gathers himself and repeats well. Calm demeanor on the mound.
6/14/15- Vanderbilt commit. 6-foot-1 190 pounds an athletic, strong, and projectable body. Soft hands in the field with good footwork. Quick transfer and an above average arm across the diamond. Open at the plate and gets a good separation for his load.
12/16/14 - Verbally committed to Vanderbilt.
