04/27/18- Florida State recruit. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 185 pounds with a lean, athletic build. Had a standout night at the plate where he went 4-for-4 including two line drive singles and two home runs. Aggressive approach in the box with quick hands and a feel for the barrel, looking to drive the ball deep into the gaps. Above average bat speed and the swing works in rhythm. Doesn’t get cheated and shows some present power. As he continues to add to his frame, look for Yawn to see a jump in gap-to-gap power at the plate. In the field, he shows athleticism and range with a strong arm across the diamond.

03/02/17 - Florida State recruit. Currently stands at 6-foot-1, 180 pounds with an athletic, projectable build. Shows the ability to range forehand and backhand in the field, charges the ball, and change arm slots on his throws when he is off balance. Average arm from short. At the plate he stays balanced with a quick, short swing. Good awareness of the strike zone. Crushed a ball over the left field wall in his final at-bat for a three-run home run. Aggressive on the base paths and stole a couple bases during the game by getting good jumps on the pitcher.

4/8/15 - 6 feet 180 pounds with a lean, athletic and projectable body. Short, quick swing. Nice swing plane and good bat speed. Steps out with his stride but still hits the other way with authority. Strong arm across the diamond from third.
