Saw limited action for the Florida Gators in 2021 and announced a transfer to the rival Bulldogs at the end of June. The veteran infielder excels at grinding out at-bats but has struggled to hit for power since a solid freshman showing in Gainesville. He looked to be overhauling his swing this summer and will work to re-establish his draft value with Georgia as a potential senior sign in 2022.

Was a steady glove at the hot corner with an all-or-nothing approach at the plate, utilizing aggressive, lofted cuts to produce a .187 ISO over his 65 at bats, to go with a 37% K-rate. Acton does show some feel for the zone and an ability to work a walk. As a draft-eligible sophomore, Acton will have some leverage come next June. If he can continue to improve the power production while reining in the strikeouts some, he could find himself off the board in the first half of Day Two. (Faleris)

Florida recruit. The stocky infielder was playing second base on the night. First time I have seen him there and it is intriguing There is some stiffness, but moves well enough and seems to have the range and ability to make all of the plays. Offensively, he was 2-4 with a walk and an RBI. He showed his above average hit tool on both single. Stays tall, stacked on the backside and trusts his hands. Shows above average bat speed and will have a chance for above average power.

Florida recruit. Athletic, projectable build. The left handed hitter has a lot of present bat speed with loose wrists and bat to ball skill. He stays in the lower half and clears the backside well. Has present pull side power and the bat will play at the next level. Defensively, he has athletic actions, the lateral movement isn’t great, but with the bat and strong arm, should be a solid third baseman. The bat plays and will be interesting to see if he can stick on the infield.
04/18/17- Florida recruit. Acton continued to hit the baseball extremely hard on the evening. He has an aggressive swing, with a feel for the barrel and the ball jumps off of his bat. Going 2-4 with a RBI and two runs scored, he has a strong lower half, above average bat speed and power potential. Although he did not have the chance to make any plays this evening, he has shown off plenty of range with good hands and an above-average arm across the diamond. The bat and athleticism will make him a very interesting potential draft prospect in 2018.
12/14/14 - Smaller framed skinny loose projectable body. Loose quick bat with some power for smaller kid. Has a good approach with looseness in bat and good hitters hands. Good balance. Good hand eye. Solid approach. Shows hitting instincts. Very young guy whose bat will improve with physical maturity. Did not see in field.
