03/10/17 - Zamora was impressive throughout the game, both offensively and defensively. The right-handed hitting shortstop showed his range to the left, with sure hands and above average arm on his only play in the game.  Offensively, he was 1-for-3 on the day with the RBI double.  He has rhythm and a big leg kick, but stayed on time against a good young arm and showed feel for the barrel.

3/3/16- 6-foot-1, 180-pound Miami recruit with a lean, live, athletic body. Advanced, smooth actions with soft hands. Good lateral quickness with range. Charges the ball and reads hops well. Good instincts and throws across the diamond are accurate. At the plate displayed loose hands with above average bat speed and good bat whip. Small step for his load with good hand-eye. Ball jumps off the bat. Aggressive. Runs the bases well, makes good turns, and gets good secondary leads on the base paths. Should be a 2017 draft pick.

3/25/15 - Miami commit. 6-foot-1 160 pounds with a lean, athletic and projectable body. Very smooth and loose actions. Very advanced in the field with soft hands that make tough in-between hops look easy. Light on feet and takes good angles to balls. Quick release and throws with authority and accuracy from different arm slots. Average ML arm as a sophomore. At the plate he has an open stance with a small leg kick. Relaxed with good rhythm. Separation in his load. Flat swing and stays inside the ball well. Gap power with average to above average bat speed that will both increase with added strength and maturity.

2/21/15 - Miami commit. 6-foot, 165 pound short stop that is athletic with smooth hands and actions with an avg arm. Hits leadoff and handles it well. Sprays the ball with what will become increasing authority. Good hand eye. Ran a 4.54 to first base. Could become a 2017 draft.

2020 DRAFT: The live-bodied Hurricane shortstop missed the entire 2020 season due to a knee injury suffered in the pre-season. At his best Zamora will show five-tool ability with smooth actions, soft hands and a plus arm with a knack for making the spectacular play look easy on defense. Yet, at times he struggles to simply make the routine one. At the plate he's walked more than he has struckout during his career (49 BB vs 43 SO) while slashing .298/.390/.434 in 95 games. With top round talent, but to date lacking the consistent performance in the field and the intangibles to be considered there, Zamora may benefit by returning to Miami for a re-do of his junior season in 2021.
