Grinder Jackson Greene won me over for his "just get it done" attitude and resulting execution. The second baseman is the glue guy that every great team has on its roster. Batting ninth, Greene consistently made for a tough at-bat, putting the bat on the ball and finishing the series 5-for-10 with a walk.
6-foot, 200-pound right-handed hitting infielder, athletically-built with present strength, profiles as a third baseman. Offensively, hands start high, drop on load, present bat speed, has gap-to-gap abilities. Defensively, hands and arm work to stick on the left-side of the infield.
8/13/16- 6-foot, 180 pounds with a strong frame, good upper body strength. Accurate arm with a quick release. Profiles as a third baseman. Soft hands, moves well for size. Showed well in batting practice the first day, sprayed balls around from gap to gap.
6/27/15- Uncommitted incoming junior. 5-foot-11 165 pounds. Soft hands in the field, stands up to throw, high ¾ arm action that is a little long. Average arm across the diamond. At the plate he has good rhythm and a short, flat swing that allows him to make consistent hard contact. 7.1 runner.
