5/24/15 - Lean athletic projectable body. Good hitters hands from both sides of the plate with a good path and good bat speed. Very good hand eye with the ability to adjust each at bat. Stays inside ball well and has doubles power in both gaps. Power will continue to come as he physically matures. Smart hitter with a good approach from both sides. Could be a good draft if somebody likes his defensive skills.

5/20/15 - Lean athletic projectable body. Will continue to gain lower half strength for durability for that position. Another offensive guy at a defensive position. Very good hitter with good rhythm, balance and quickness in bat. Offense is much further ahead of defense. Good receiver with good hands and mobility. Blocks well. Good release with below avg arm. Needs to improve arm strength to stay back there. Is athletic enough to play other positions. Could be a good draft but could be tough to get away from FSU.
3/4/15 - Florida St signee. 6-foot-1, 180 pound catcher. Athletic lean projectable body. Good receiver with solid hands. Good mobility. Blocks well. Arm is short. Below avg but quick release. Bat is best tool and is a plus tool with some power down the road. Was 1-3 with a single and 2 deep fly balls left handed. Should be a 2015 draft.
2/2 - Took a good BP with avg ML power. Good approach with quickness in the bat and a good path. Has loft in swing, just lacks strength right now. Will have future power. Carried his good approach over into he game when he smoked a 91 mph FB in the LC gap for his first double, and later smoked another double in the RC gap. Both from the left side. Played defense with energy. Avg type receiver with some quickness in the body. Had a couple nice blocks and a couple got away from him. Quick transition on his throws but lacks accuracy. Takes ball out of his glove with his elbow. Showed a below avg ML arm with a quick release. Ran a 4.32 to 1B. Physical maturity will improve his overall game. Could be a 2015 draft.
Lean projectable body with good hitting instincts from both sides of the plate. I've seen more from the left side and it's very good. Has quickness and good hand eye. Stays inside ball well and uses whole field. Has loft in swing with occasional power. Bat is best tool and will continue to get better with added strength. Solid receiver behind the dish with fringy catch and throw skills. Lacks arm strength. Blocks well and appears to be a leader.

4/11/18 - 6’1/185, Junior. Athletic bodied left fielder with a smooth, easy run stride and above average to plus speed underway. Slow out of the box, running a 4.33 from the left side on a 4-3 groundout and a 4.45 on a 5-3 groundout. Showed a fringe average arm with plus accuracy during pre-game I/O. Made a sensational, diving catch towards the left field line in the bottom of the eighth inning, saving a run. Has all the tools to be a future above average ML corner outfield defender. Offensively, he started the season slow, but has come around lately hitting over .350 in his past 13 games. Sets up in the back of the box and showed an easy, loose left handed swing with some length. Some swing/miss against breaking balls. More compact right handed swing with average bat speed and good extension. Overall, Lueck is athletic and has tools. His draft value will be determined simply by how he performs from now until the draft. If he continues to hit like he has the past 13 games, he could find himself being selected in the top five rounds. If he reverts to the performance of his first 19 games, he may return to Tallahassee for his senior year. Most likely he’s something in between and will be selected in the sixth to 10th rounds.
