10/23/16- Miami recruit. The projectable middle infielder followed up a strong Florida Diamond Club with a solid week at Jupiter. He did what he has always done, which is find the barrel. He is still young and has a lot of room to fill out, but more than holds his own with players nearly a year older then him in his own class. Someone may really fall in love with the frame and potential to stick at short while being an above average hitter with power potential.
10/16/16- Miami recruit. The 6-foot-4, 195 pound infielder continued to do what he always does, which is hit anyone and everyone. From his wide setup, he has a simple swing with a great path that is in the zone for a long time. He creates above average bat speed, with leverage, which led to 2 doubles and a single in his two games. He has an above average feel for the barrel and as he continues to grow and fill out the present power will turn into above average power. At short, he showed above average footwork with a good first step always working under control. The hands and arm work as well projecting for him to stay at short going forward. Being able to stay at the premier defensive position and the consistent hit tool has him as one of the higher ranked prospects in the country.
3/4/16- Miami commit who stands at 6-foot-3, 190 pounds with a tall, lean, loose, athletic, and projectable body. In the field he has soft hands, plenty of range, and plus arm strength. He features the frame and tools to stay at shortstop for a long time. At the plate he gets a separation and a nice hand trigger for his load. He has some length and loft in his swing that allows him to really drive the ball when he gets extended. Vientos is one of the top 2017 prospects in the country and should be a high draft pick next year.
6/14/15- Miami commit. 6-foot-3 175 pounds with a tall, lean, athletic, and projectable body. Light feet and soft hands in the field. Loose arm with an above average ML arm across the diamond. Good separation and bat speed. Swing can be a little in and out of the zone but he has plus bat speed and gets good leverage in his swing. Already has average ML average power.
2/11/15 - Miami commit. 6-foot-3, 160 pound prospect. Really looks the part. Is still very young but already has attracted attention. Ive seen him quite a bit and his abilities are well documented. I look forward to watching him grow as a player.
2/9/15 - Miami commit. 6-foot-3, 170 pound short stop with a plus body and a smooth fielder with a plus arm looks like a young Alex Rodriguez. all loose lean rangy projectable body. Loose easy actions in field with softness in hands.Swing has alot of looseness with some length and quickness. Shows some power now with alot more to come. Very high ceiling for this kid. Hell be heavily scouted in a couple of years. Has a chance to be a 2017 draft.
12/7/14 SF Elite tryout - Tall loose lean rangy projectable body. Loose easy actions in field with softness in hands. Good defensive instincts. Had good 1st step quickness with good reads off the bat. Aggressive, not afraid to come get the ball with very good arm strength.  Swing has alot of looseness with some length and quickness. Shows some power now with alot more to come. Ran a 7.0, 60. Very high ceiling for this kid.
7/24/14 - Vientos didnt start the first scrimmage at Team USA's 15U Trials, but he made his presence known quickly when he entered. Fielding a slow chopper at shortstop, he showed off his arm strength, unleashing a seed to first base to get the out. He then showed some range, fielding a ball up the middle and spinning to make another strong throw to first. At the plate, he has a loose swing and good bat speed. He has a skinny frame at 6-foot-3, 160 pounds. He is a rising sophomore.
