Has short arm action with some rhythm and commands all pitches. Balanced setup at the plate with a toe touch and short stride and has strong lower half. Good balance with swing and above average bat speed with exit velocity at 88. Line drive hitter with level to uphill bat path and shows pull side power.
08/22/18- The 6-foot, 195 pound 3B/RHP has a stocky frame and strong lower half. Defensively, he works under control, hands work well, a short arm action and throws had carry, topped at 85 mph form the outfield. Offensively, he uses his strength well. With present, quick hands, he is able to overcome the somewhat late separation. There is bat to ball skills with strength and power potential. On the mound, he lands closed and cuts himself off. He has present arm strength and will make some big jumps as he begins to land more consistently in line. The fastball worked from 79-82 mph and also has a 64-69 mph curveball and a 67-69 mph changeup. Overall, there are multiple above average tools to follow moving forward.
