Body: 6-foot, 215-pounds. Strong, stocky frame, has added strength.
Defense: Wide, low fielding position, keeps baseball in front.
Arm: RH. INF - 83 mph. Short, quick arm actions.
Hit: RHH. Comfortable athletic setup, simple actions in the box. Downhill path with strong lift, hands work straight to baseball.
Power: 93 mph exit velocity from the tee. Projectible power.
Run: 7.31 runner in the 60.
Delivery: Tall and drive delivery, high leg lift reaching balance, powerful finish.
Arm Action: RH. Over the top arm slot.
FB: T84, 82-84 mph. Heavy, showed some sink.
CB: 76-79 mph. 12/6 shape, spinning.
Strong frame at 6-foot, 200 pounds. Throws from the high 3/4 arm slot with average arm speed with fastball sitting 81-82 and slider sitting 73-75 and tight sharp break with near fastball arm speed. Has short arm action with some rhythm and commands all pitches. Balanced setup at the plate with a toe touch and short stride and has strong lower half. Good balance with swing and above average bat speed with exit velocity at 88. Line drive hitter with level to uphill bat path and shows pull side power.
08/22/18- The 6-foot, 195 pound 3B/RHP has a stocky frame and strong lower half. Defensively, he works under control, hands work well, a short arm action and throws had carry, topped at 85 mph form the outfield. Offensively, he uses his strength well. With present, quick hands, he is able to overcome the somewhat late separation. There is bat to ball skills with strength and power potential. On the mound, he lands closed and cuts himself off. He has present arm strength and will make some big jumps as he begins to land more consistently in line. The fastball worked from 79-82 mph and also has a 64-69 mph curveball and a 67-69 mph changeup. Overall, there are multiple above average tools to follow moving forward.
