6-foot-1, 160-pound athletic build. Smooth athletic at the plate, O'dette had a max exit velocity of 88 mph. (58.36 mph bat speed average). (19.99 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced stance with a tight load, then uses a toe tap short stride. Has quick bat speed, level uphill swing plane and high finish. Found a few barrels with some loud contact. Opposite field up the middle approach. Capable in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 75 mph; shows a natural exchange, sure hands, and choppy feet. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a ¾ slot with a long arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a time of 7.65 in the 60-yard dash. Solid on the mound, had a high ¾ arm angle and a consistent arm action with some arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. Showed low balance point with uphill shoulders.
