10/23/16- Clemson recruit. Was really impressive with a clean and quick arm from a low-3/4 arm action with his fastball ranging from 88-91 with late arm-side life. He also showed the ability to stay on top of a slider that had some late biting action at 78-80 mph. Keating struck out all three in his one inning pitched and looks like a potential draft pick going into the spring.

8/22/15- Sam is very athletic and showed above average instincts in the OF.  Runs the bases and his bat is starting to come around.

7/15/15: Uncommitted incoming junior. 6-foot-2 170 pounds with a tall, lean, athletic, and projectable body. At the plate he gets a small separation for his load, stays balanced, and has a nice swing plane. Easy swing with quick hands and does not get beat in.

4/4/15 - 6-foot-2, 165 pound right hander with a young, loose body and arm with clean, loose mechanics. Fast ball was 85-88 mph, crisp with a firm downer curve ball that showed an AVG look. Competed well with lots of aggressive strikes with both pitches. Got Kone to fly out weakly to RF with 2 outs and bases loaded in the 5^th.  This kid will be a guy to see in a couple of years.
