05/29/16- Louisiana-Lafayette recruit. Currently ranked No. 28 in the Florida 2016 class, No. 102 overall. Strong, physical, athletic build on a 6-foot-4, 225 pound frame with a physical upper body. Strong hands and present power. Quick bat with the ability to drive the ball with authority with hard contact. Ball jumps off the bat and laced several balls deep into the gaps and over the wall during batting practice. Looks relaxed in the box and shows better patience during his at-bats. Good actions in the outfield with a strong arm, most likely a corner outfielder.
2/12/16 - Louisiana-Lafayette recruit. 6-foot-4, 205 pound outfielder with a thick muscular strong athletic body. Built like a linebacker. Athletic outfield actions with an above average arm. Limited range. Below average runner. Short quick stroke with plus strength and plus power. Took a 90 mph fastball off of a good pitcher way deep to left center field. His approach continues to improve the more he plays. Didn’t chase out of the zone with some good takes. Was a basketball player, but is becoming a good baseball player, not just an athlete. Should be a 2016 draft. Went 2-4 with a HR.
10/28/15 - Louisiana Lafayette commit. 6-foot-4, 190 pound outfielder with a tall athletic strong muscular build. Physical specimen. Athletic actions in the outfield with an average arm. Limited to a corner but fits the profile. Shows good strength and bat speed with above average power. Will have much more in the future. Hands stay inside ball and drives the ball in both gaps. Continues to improve the more he plays. Very athletic strong body with a lot of upside. Could become a good 2016 draft.
7/30/15- Committed to Louisiana Lafayette 6/5/15 - Uncommitted rising senior. 6-foot-4, 215 pound outfielder with a strong muscular athletic body on a big frame. Very athletic strong kid that will improve with reps. I got a quick look at him and he looked like he had athletic actions in the outfield. Showed some bat speed and strength at the plate. Will definitely need to see more of him but he certainly passes the eye test. The 6-foot-4 200 lb. first baseman ran a 7.4 60 with an 80 mph exit velo at the North Florida Prospect ID. At the plate, Lott showed impressive power hitting a few balls out during his BP session.

8-15-2018: Six-foot-four, 235 pounds. Massive frame with wide, muscular build. Big league body. Former prep first baseman who has transitioned to corner outfield. Lott had an All-Star caliber summer and finally showed flashes of tapping into his raw power. His six home runs for Hyannis surpassed his combined HR total from his freshman and sophomore seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette. The low walk, high strikeout rate he posted is a bit concerning. It will be important for those numbers to improve in the spring. With his size, he’s always going to be a below average runner, which puts more pressure on his bat and power production. Arm strength is average at best, giving him limited defensive value if he sticks in the outfield. That being said, there are few players out there who can match Lott’s physical presence and power potential. (D Jurik)
