Defensively, he showed actions and fielded the ball under control and out in front with a strong, accurate throw across the diamond that topped out at 85 mph. Offensively, he showed quick bat speed and a feel for the barrel with consistent contact. Registered a 93 mph exit velocity in the cage. Showed his athleticism when he clocked in at 6.91 seconds for his 60 yard dash time. Carrizo will be a good uncommitted follow throughout the spring.
