Uncommitted. Turner (6-0 175) worked exclusively on the outer half during his outing and showcased a H ¾ arm slot. His fastball sat 78-83 in the outing and when he stayed on top and through the baseball had arm side run. His breaking ball was a big 65-67 curveball; the pitch had big shape to it at 2-7 action. Turner has room to feel out and could turn into a very capable arm of getting outs at the college level.

Lanky left-hander at 6-foot-2, 180 pounds. Loose arm that can really spin the baseball. Climbed with velocity as he settled in. Fastball sat 81-84 with some dive. 2-seam has good movement out of the hand. When misses, missed arm-side, but still getting feel for body. Curveball has good shape sitting 69-70. Interesting arm to watch this spring. Member of 2019 Georgia Future Games team.

6-foot-2, 180-pound long frame, projectable build, left-handed pitcher. Arm works cleanly on the back-side with above-average arm speed to a ¾ slot, repeats well. Drop and drive delivery, some cross-fire action, swinging gate stride, works towards the first base side of the rubber, lands square, finishes crossing over. Fastball, sat 77-79, touched 81. Curveball, slurve-like shape to it, came in at 62-67. A lot to like in the athletic projection of the southpaw.

Turner continues to progress as with his clean left-handed stroke and repeatable delivery. The long left-hander has good length and gets good extension out front, giving his easy arm stroke deception by cutting down the distance to the plate. Athletic projection left-handers do not grow on trees and look for even more out of Turner as he matures and adds strength.

Turner has a good looking young projectable frame. The 2021 from North Gwinnett high school turns in at 6-foot 175-pounds and shows nice easy athleticism. Turner is already bumping 80 mph and is doing it with some ease of operation while maintaining good intent to the plate. He throws three pitches that all come from the same high-¾ slot and is going to give him a chance to pitch downhill, but he also does it without being too restricted. This leaves his arm swing a chance to project with added strength. He has shape to his breaking ball and should firm as velocity comes. On top of showing two promising pitches now, Turner also has upside with his change-up. He does slow his arm slightly and baby the pitch now, but the most exciting thing from a pitching standpoint is that comes from the exact same slot as his other two offerings.
