7/21/20

Mississippi State commit. 6-foot-1, 200-pound right-handed hitting two-way prospect, physical frame, an imposing figure in the box. Slightly open setup, hands drop and load back smoothly, strides out to a balanced position. Strong hands/wrists, quick barrel speed, stays back on the ball, takes a pull-side approach. When squared up the ball comes off the bat hot, a true power threat at the plate. Up to 91 on the mound. Showed strides throughout the summer with command and feel for zone. Up-tempo arm. Showed late life with FB. Best results came when breaking ball was a factor. Slurve-like shape at 72-73; glimpses of sharp action. Changeup is advanced with deceptive action at 75-76.
