The Houston commit was dialed in his start as he showed extremely well across 5.0 IP. Oozes projection in a wiry, long-limbed 6-foot-4, 195-pounds. Exudes excellent body control with an ease of an operation with real arm speed from a higher slot. Filled up the zone with immense feel for a 3-pitch mix. Fastball induced plenty of whiffs at 90-92 (T93 MPH) with arm-side run and some carry through the zone. Advanced feel for the curveball with depth at 75-77. Showed the ability to go R/R at will with the changeup at 80-82 with fade and depth. Guillory would also come through with a sharp base knock at the plate as well. Controlled hands stand out with the ability to get the barrel on-plane and gap-to-gap strength. The stock continues to trend up for the right-hander with potential draft helium incoming and may be a name to know come July.
