CLASS OF 2028

The strong looks at Greene continue to stack up as he has consistently performed over the years with more of the same continuing the Spring. Showed extremely well out of the 3-hole as he collected 3-hits on the day as he worked backside with ease. Boasts strength throughout the physical, broad-shouldered 5-foot-10 frame and immense feel to hit. Easy rhythm in the box and utilizes a toe-tap load to create excellent separation and stays balanced through impact. Loose wrists stand out in a compact stroke with present bat speed and above-average feel for the barrel in a linear path. Plus makeup behind the dish with advanced receiving and ability to handle premium velocity on a nightly basis. Present athleticism in the crouch with arm strength alike and strong blocking as well. Big-league bloodlines and has been a model of consistency while offering loud tools on both sides of the ball. Must know name come August 1st.

Uncommitted. Strong, athletic, and powerful hacks in the semi-final games of the 14u National Championship games. Loose hands, held chest high pairs well with a short leg-kick load that generates healthy momentum towards the ball to make hard, consistent contact. Showcased excellent ability to spray the ball to all fields with maturity in his approaches, matched with an aggressive intent towards every pitch. A physical 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame with more strength and power on the way. Quick movements behind the dish as well, showing good arm strength and ability to block it up efficiently. High follow for the upcoming freshman.

Greene was an arm I was interested in seeing since I watched him hit in the 13U National Championship. Despite having a rough outing, I wasn’t disappointed. Has a strong, medium frame at 5-foot-8, 150 pounds with noticeable athleticism. Delivery looked clean and repeatable with good pace. Good footwork creates good direction in pitch. Had a good feel for his curveball that generated a lot of whiffs that ran 62-64 and a fastball than ran 73-75. Even though he struggled the first couple innings, he was let out for the 3rd inning and shut it down after making some adjustments.

Greene is quite the hitter, I had the pleasure of watching him for several games in the 13U National Championship several weeks ago. He continued to hit this summer with an RBI single in the 5th inning to try and spark a rally for Team Georgia. 5-foot-7, 150 pound strong frame with MLB blood lines. Tall, narrow stance with a medium stride, makes strong contact through swing. As he continues his development, he will be an interesting follow to see how he takes the next step in his game.
