Cape Cod: A bazooka arm along with excellent blocking, receiving and framing skills. But he hit just .159 for the Blazers this spring and .200 for the Firebirds this summer. If he can find a way to become serviceable with the bat as a transfer to Georgia, he could have a pro future thanks to his standout defense.
NPI
Uncommitted. Hunter, 6-1 205, just continues to impress with the bat the more we see him. The LHH backstop has done nothing but turn out quality at bats and was no different this weekend with him drawing multiple walks and then showing off the power and athleticism with opposite field extra base hits. Hunter has a soft load and then stays in the hitting zone a very long time and seems to always have a middle of the field approach.
PBR Showdown
Uncommitted. Hunter, 6-foot-1, 205-pounds, a prospect without a doubt flying under the radar as an uncommitted guy in a loaded TE Black lineup. He has a natural ability to catch but also has the makings of a guy who could be a complete catcher as there is offensive upside with Henry. He caught high velocity arms all weekend and show soft hands and great framing ability; offensively the LHH had great at bats and when balls were put in play they were on the barrel.
