Rhodes College Commit. Forrest was given an important role in the lineup and on the mound. He attacked batters with 3 offerings, able to throw them in any count with confidence. His FB had great P2C, missing barrels all night, as well as some s/m at 81-83. He was dialed in with the CB that changed shape, showing a 12-6 look as well as a sweeping 1-7 look at 71-73, also enticing many whiffs and Ks. He was able to spot his CH (75-77) as well, keeping hitters off balance all night, going 5.1 IP hitless, being pulled due to pitch count. He racked up 5Ks and pitched out of tough spots with RISP with no sweat. At the dish, he went 1-3 with quality ABs all afternoon. He gave his 1st AB up and bunted a runner into scoring position in the 1st frame. The next AB was a 1-3 putout, but did move a runner as well. In his 3rd, he dropped the hands during a good AB and laced a 1B over SS for an RBI to extend the lead. In extras, he lead off the 8th with loud contact right at the CF. Forrest can ignite the Mustangs offense and defense, showing a leadership mentality.

Body: 5-11, 167-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Somewhat open stance, feet close together. Little bit of an upward swing, abiloty to go to both side of the field. 71.3 mph bat speed with 18 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 84.2 mph. 302' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-83 mph. Over the top slot, quick action.
Defense: Smooth glove, good footwork.
ATH: 6.78 runner in the 60. 1.62 and 3.75 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 23.90 max vertical.

Uncommitted. This can flat out hit, this weekend he led the entire tournament with 11 base knocks. Keeps a nice simple approach and hits the ball where it's pitched and does not try to do too much. In the semis he went 3 for 3 with 2 singles and a double, loves to use all parts of the field and is very quick on the basepaths. Projectable frame at 6’0 165 that will continue to fill out as he continues to develop and get stronger.
