Troy commit. It was loud pop from the start for all of Morgan’s bats and Reed was no exception. T1 he got an up and in offering and launched it over the LF fence despite getting slightly under it. His raw pop has been on display this season as he sports a violent, yet controlled swing through the zone. His next AB was a good battle that he won, resulting in a BB to begin a very long, 13 run 3rd. His name was called again later in the inning, but Pike wanted no part of him and gave him the intentional pass. Reed continues to standout at the top of this potent lineup and is an intimidating bat at 6-foot-2, 206 pounds. Game 2 was more of the same with a great 2K piece of hitting as he stayed back on a breaker for a 1B in the gap. His next AB he got into a hitters count and ripped a ball into the same place for another 1B, as well as another IBB with 1st open. With Morgan continuing to dominate competition, Reed stays in prime position to advance his game as he prepares for the next level.
