Diamond Notes: Week 1 and 2

The first couple weeks of the GHSA season was tricky due to the schedule being bumped up a week. For out first POTW and Diamond Notes articles we will highlight players from the week of February 6th to February 13th.
Each week, Georgia High School coaches around the state submit to us their nominations for the PBR Georgia Player of the Week honors. Our first POTW of the season went to ECI pitcher Bryce Kearson and St. Pius X outfielder, Xavier Ness.
Inside of this Diamond Notes piece, we acknowledge the performances that fell short of that POTW honor, but are still deserving of some recognition here.
