GA Preseason All-State

Body: 6-2, 195-pounds. Long, lanky frame, projectable build, lots of room to fill out.
HitRHH. Wide, balanced setup, quick rhythm in hands, loads back smoothly, short leg lift stride, good balance. Hit path is short to the zone, uphill through, looks to elevate and drive the ball to the pull-side, some looseness in hands, pull-side power.
Power92.00 mph exit velocity from the tee. Pull-side power.
ArmRH. C - 68.00 mph. Arm action is short to a 3/4 slot, some stiffness in arm.
Defense2.22-2.29 pop times. Flexible hips, receives cleanly, clean footwork, at-times feet get heavy, clean on transfers, can get long sometimes.
Run7.46 runner in the 60.


Fall Upperclass Games

HitRHH. Balanced setup, athletic crouch in knees, low hand hands, good rhythm, smooth load, leg kick timing trigger, good balance.  Swing path is short to the zone, mostly level through, generates hard contact with his long levers, especially when he gets extension, power middle/pull.
Power90 mph exit velocity from the tee. Big power potential as he fills out his lanky frame. 94.91 max exit velocity via TrackMan, 26.30 max hand speed via Blast.
ArmRH. C - 68 mph. Short arm action to a 3/4 slot, kept throws around the target.
Defense2.12-2.22 pop times. Competent receiver, has a tendency to stand up out of crouch, clean on transfers.
Run7.75 runner in the 60.


6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitting catcher, large frame with strength throughout and plenty of room to fill out, ran a 7.80 laser-timed 60. Offensively, simple setup, wide base, short hand load back couple with short stride, good balance throughout. Middle/pull hitter, flashed ability to drive the ball, looks to elevate, more power to come as he adds strength, 83 exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, arm works short from a high ¾ slot, put throws on target, 69 out of the crouch. Sits in stance with flexible knees, quick hands, clean footwork, pop times ranged, 2.13-2.25.
