Foust put together a strong overall week both offensively and defensively where he earned Player of the Game honors in a GM3. Set the tone for the offense including a pair of base-hits while showing really well behind the plate. Would also take good swings earlier in the week as well. Sneaky athleticism and strength in the lean 5-foot-10, 153-pound frame with present tools. Maintains balance in a fluid mover forward with ground-up strength. All-fields feel in a well-leveraged path to contact and barrel feel is present with quick hands while showing the ability to change plane. Quick trigger and shows a direct stroke with excellent bat-to-ball skills, and zone awareness that allows for consistent solid contact across multiple parts of the zone. Advanced defender behind the plate with tons of athleticism and flexibility in the crouch. IQ stands out and handles the running game extremely well. Accurate throws to the bag is backed by clean footwork and a smooth, quick transfer while displaying budding arm strength. Ability to consistently block balls in the dirt with soft hands and strong receiving skills to match. The term gamer is frequented but Foust embodies it and will offer the type of value that can make an impact across multiple levels.
