Georgetown commit. The pop off the bat of Davis sounds different than the rest of those on the field today as he put together a perfect first game. With 2Ks early in his first AB, he shortened up, stayed back and worked the big part of the field for a 1B UTM. His next AB was the next inning in a leadoff situation and roped a short hop to the LCF wall, again coming in to score. The next AB was when he continued to do damage as he unloaded on a lower pitch and took it out to dead center for a solo shot, extending the lead. In his final AB, he got caught check swinging, but when you’re hot, you’re hot, and Davis legged out the perfectly placed swinging bunt for an IF 1B. All in all, Davis’s tools are clear and obvious each time he is involved in a play, whether it’s at the dish or the hot corner, Davis looks to make an impact.

Body: 5-10, 167-pounds.
Hit: RHH. Slightly wide and open setup. Great backside pop, consistent barrels. 67 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 80.8 mph. 310' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-83 mph. Over the top slot, accuarate, long arm action
Defense: Moves well, athletic actions, gains ground moving towards 2nd
ATH: 7.18 runner in the 60. 1.69 and 4.01 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 25.20 max vertical.
