3/23/19: Team leader for the Bulldogs who is having a big start to his senior year. After finishing the 2018 season with big home runs against Florida and Ole Miss, Talley continues to improve his offensive production for the Bulldogs. He is currently slashing .392/.505/.608 with four home runs and 16 walks through 93 plate appearances after averaging .254/.340/.377 his first three seasons. Early in the count he pulled off, looking to drive the ball to right field, yet adjusted by shortening his swing (no load) with two strikes and used an up-the-middle approach. Ran a 4.33 to first base, reaching on an error. Defensively at second base, he showed above average range to his left with fringe average arm strength. Talley will most likely be selected in the top 10 rounds as a money saver senior pick. (Seifert)
