It was simply just a monster performance in all facets for the Cincinnati commit. Finished with a final stat line of 3-for-4 with a 2-run HR, HR, 2B, and 4 RBI as he powered the offense to a win on opening night. Armed with loads of strength in an ultra-physical 6-foot-4, 225-pound frame and game power shows up regularly. Utilizes a toe-tap load with good balance and rhythm throughout the swing as he generates a ton of strength from the ground-up. Advanced feel for the barrel with real impact to match backed by huge bat speed and leverage through the zone. It was quite the showing to open the year as Dykes boasts significant power projection and could garner some draft helium this Spring.
