10/4/2018 - The medium framed 2-way prospect shows good athleticism and actions both way. On the mound he has a fluid delivery and easy arm stroke.  He repeats and can run his fastball into the low-90's.His slider flashes swing and miss attributes at 79-81. Letzgus has as much present ability as any uncommitted kid in the state.

6-foot-0, 175-pound, RHP showed electric arm strength w/ some pitchability.  Medium, athletic profile w/ well-proportioned lean strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Pitches from a full wind-up into H ¾ to ¾ release from the first base side of the rubber.  Super quick arm w/ loose arm action.  Lower half is just along for the ride.  Straight FB flashes occasional short arm side run.  ¾ tilt SL flashes tight rotation, swing and miss ability.  Also occasional slurve.  Around the zone, more control than command. Projects to command w/ reps.  Generated 3 swing and misses on 14 swings.

6-foot-0, 175-pound, SHH presents a lot of quick twitch w/ easy plus arm strength.  Medium, athletic profile w/ well-proportioned lean strength, super projectable.  Has just scratched the surface of his frame potential.  Offensively, hits w/ an open, very slightly crouched stance w/ hand rhythm into a controlled leg kick to slightly open and proper load.  Generates above average bat speed through the zone, flashes whippiness.  Front foot was landing slightly late on this day, causing some timing issues to fastballs.  Pull oriented approach, got a bit rotational, at his best when staying through the baseball and hitting line drives.  Showed all fields ability in BP w/ lot of line drives.  Projectable pull power, flashes ability to utilize all his strength to be on time and drive the baseball.  Projectable plus runner.  Defensively, profiles best on the dirt, showing premium arm strength both in the IF and OF.  In the middle infield, shows good hands w/ ability to play through the baseball, good lateral range.  Can make throws from any arm angle.  Legitimate 2-way prospect.

11/18/17 - Max FB: 90, FB: 87-88, CB: 75-76, CH: 79-80, SL: 80-82
6-foot-0, 190-pound, RHP w/ premium stuff and projectable frame.  Medium, athletic frame w/ wiry strength, oozes projection.  Pitches from a full windup w/ short rocker step into first base side of rubber.  Leg kick w/ hip turn into leg drive and ¾ release.  Lightning quick arm.  Understands how to use his body to generate velocity, weight explodes on release towards the plate.  Have seen up to 92 in game, just waiting on frame to catch up to arm-speed.  FB shows occasional run, occasional ride through the zone.  Short downer CB w/ tightness.  SL w/ tight ¾ tilt, projects as a swing and miss pitch.  CH w/ arm-speed and fade.  Around the zone, projects to command w/ more reps.

11/18/17 - 30 Time: 3.91, Position Velocity:  OF-95, IF-91, Exit Velocity: 90
6-foot-0, 190-pound, RHH shows premium athleticism and arm strength.  Medium, athletic frame w/ wiry strength, oozes projection.  Offensively, hits from an open, slightly crouched stance w/ back shoulder hand location.  Stride to square w/ proper load.  Generates bat speed through the zone w/ back-spin.  Projectable power.  Projects to hit for average and power.  Defensively, worked out in the IF and OF.  On the dirt, shows soft hands w/ ability to play through the ball well.  In the outfield, projects as a potential center fielder w/ plus speed, arm strength.  High level player just scratching the surface of his tools.
