Uncommitted. Nash, 6-foot-2, 195-pounds, was a fan favorite of the PBR staff on the mound this weekend as the man just flat pitched his tail off throwing multiple pitches for strikes and competing from the first pitch he threw to the last he threw after 5 shutout frames for NB Legends. He started the game at 83-84 before settling in at 80-84 for the outing and flashing an 64-68 mph curveball that he was not afraid to throw in any account or to left-handed hitters as well. Nash also broke out a changeup in the low 70’s. Nash could make a velo jump before you know it, he is athletic, his body has room to grow still; he has moxy on the mound and competes. He could end up being a really good arm for someone down the road.

Top Prospect Games
6-foot-2, 195-pound left-handed hitting two-way prospect, long projectable frame, plenty of room for additional strength, ran a 7.31 laser-timed 60. Offensively, open setup, short hand load back with smooth rhythm, short stride to a balanced position, finishes balanced. Line drive type hitter, works the entire field with a short, quick swing that works level through the zone with whip, showed aggressiveness and some explosion in swing, 88 exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, long arm action to an over-the-top slot, kept throws on target at 83 from the outfield. Stays back on the ball, clean on transfers. On the mound, arm plays long, reaching on the back-side, accelerates to a ¾ slot. Drop and drive delivery, works-line, lands square, finish varied between square and a slight cross over. Fastball sat 83-84, touched 85, run action. Curveball, 12/6 shape, depth, 70-73. Changeup, 75-76, fade.
