Game Performance

2/14/20

5-foot-6, 120 pounds. Showed to belong on the Varsity level as Muffuletto looked anything but apprehensive in the field and at the plate. Started at SS and hit out of the leadoff spot. Showed range in the infield, making routine plays with ease. Also showed ability to field a backhand in the 6-hole and finish the play with a strong throw. At the plate, uses the whole field and looks to drive the baseball. Made hard contact to the opposite field multiple times. A solid overall player to watch as his high school career blossoms.

11/09/19

5-foot-6, 118-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder, lean, lanky athlete, ran a 7.15 laser-timed 60. Offensively, open setup, leg kick timing trigger with a long stride, barrel wraps on load, weight drifts out on to front leg when he comes square. Barrel works mostly level through the zone, creates line drive contact, 75 exit velocity. Defensively, arm action is long to a high ¾ slot, 70 across the infield. Fields position athletically with savvy hands, competent glove hand funnels smoothly into mid-section, quick exchanges.

9/03/19

5-foot-6 120lbs. One of the best defensive players of the weekend. Has a quick arm, and gets rid of the baseball well. Hands and feet work well together. Plays the game hard, and fast. At the plate he is a tough out. Has the ability to move runners when needed. He is a threat on the bases, and gets great jumps and reads on the ball.
