Uncommitted. Heath filled up the zone with a mix of pitches to earn the win on Thursday. A quick mover with a deceptive slot from the left side, he gets really good extension down the mound and is a very tough at-bat for left-handed hitters. Flashed a fastball that sat 84–86 and topped at 87, with good life and the ability to locate to any quadrant of the strike zone. The curveball was 69–71 with good shape and late break out of the zone, showing the ability to land it for strikes and generate chases. The changeup showed good movement with the same arm action as the fastball. Expect Heath to continue trending upward and be a pivotal part of this Carrollton team headed into the playoffs. Projects as a reliable strike-thrower with the ability to keep hitters off balance and compete deep into outings.
