3/23/19: Athletic center fielder with wiry strength and quick twitch abilities. Off to a great start this spring with a .333/.432/.681 slash. Easy juice. Plus to better bat speed. Ball jumps off his bat and carries well to all fields. Tanked a monster bomb to right field in Sunday's 9-7 win by the Bulldogs, giving him six on the season. Plus-plus runner underway with good acceleration on the base paths; 11 stolen bases so far this season. Below average arm strength, but just enough for center field. Overall, he is the type of athlete with quick twitch strength that scouts look for, but until this spring his performance didn't warrant much draft consideration. A fourth-year junior who is 22 years old (turns 23 in September), he looks like a late bloomer. If he continues to show improvement at the plate Maxwell could find himself being selected during Day Two. (Seifert)
