Cape Cod: Harris made a strong impression during fall ball last year but struggled as a freshman this spring, going 2-4, 7.85 with 33 strikeouts and 21 walks in 36.2 innings. He was hittable in the Cape League, posting an 8.10 ERA and allowing 16 hits in 10 innings, but he still showed very promising stuff. Loose and projectable at 6-foot-1, 195 pounds, Harris has a fast arm that produces 90-94 mph heat from a three-quarters slot. He can throw a four-seamer with very good ride (spin rates in the 2300-2500s with up to 21 inches of IVB), and also a two-seamer with 20 inches of horizontal break. He also features a short slider at 84-87 with some late bite, spinning in the 2300s-2400s and flashing above-average. He did not show a changeup in our look this summer, and developing a third pitch will be important for him to settle into a starter’s profile. But his slider is a good pitch and his fastball plays, with room to add velocity, making him a very intriguing prospect for 2025.

6 foot 1, 190 pounds w/ broad shoulders & built lower half, should be able to hold 20 more lbs. Old school overhead windup from a 3/4 slot. FB Sat 92-93 w/ serious bore. Attacks every hitter like it’s his last. Rides backside down the hill & explodes thru stiff front knee well. SL 80-81 w/ late bite & depth. Mid upper 90's in future. High level arm.

Uncommitted. Lean frame at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds. Started game one for Cambridge, going 5 IP, 1 R, 5 K. Short arm action from a H3/4 slot, slightly open landing. Got ahead in counts with fastball; sat 86-90 early in the outing with above average effort. Fastball had some late life. Showed a two MPH jump from this event last season. Breaking ball had 12/6 down action at 76-79.

Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 170 pounds; slim frame. Short arm action with very minimal drop in arm swing. Fastball has run from the ¾ slot at 86-88. Arm strength is raw. Slider showed glimpse of a plus pitch over the weekend, but has been very solid in the spring.

6-foot-1, 170-pound right-handed pitcher, lean, athletic build, a standout on the gridiron at QB for the Cambridge Bears. Arm works loose with quick acceleration out front to a low ¾ slot, shows high and wide on the back-side, repeats well. Drop and drive delivery, gets into his lower half, works on-line to home plate finishing square. Showed good feel for his fastball that had heavy armside run, sat 86-88. Would start the pitch over the center of the plate and have it run under the hands of the Redan lineup, produced weak contact and swing and misses. If he ever faces wood bats, will break more than a few. In our short view of him, handled pressure well, getting out of a bases loaded situation with no runs surrendered.
