Upright posture with open stance, easy stride to square, head is level and quiet, occasional stiff path with high back elbow, stays on and through contact, mid/pull approach, hard line drive and fly ball contact, 88 mph exit velocity. Plays on balls of feet, soft glove action, works around ball and plays through well, above avg. arm with carry and accuracy, 89 mph arm strength across diamond. Solid actions in outfield, plays through ball, soft glove, with above avg. carry and accuracy to target, online throws with 92 mph arm strength from outfield.

3/13/16- 5-foot-11, 170-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder. 6.78 runner with good strength in compact frame. Simple swing. Repeats well. Even with high back elbow; bat path is clean and short to contact. Consistent hard contact with ability to drive baseball to opposite field. One of better BP’s at event. 92 mph exit velocity off tee. Versatile athlete with ability to play infield and outfield. Plays IF with energy. Shows good angles and routes to ball. Glove has improved. Strong arm with accuracy at 86 mph. Runs enough for OF with 89 mph arm strength. Throws are online and accurate to target and shows athletic routes and actions.

5/15/15- Bennett is a 5-foot-10, 160-pound right-handed hitting 2-way player. Ran a 7.06 60 at the event. Upright slightly open stance to start. Transfers weight well through contact with good extension. Has balance and rhythm in swing. Hands are loose and head is quiet. Stays on top of baseball and uses the middle of the field. Strength in swing is evident with 89 mph exit velocity off tee. Glove is soft and has above average range. Above average ability for second baseman. Throws are accurate and have carry. 81 mph arm strength across. On the mound shows some athleticism. Rock and fire type mechanics. Front foot gets outside of knee. Lands inline and closed to plate. Long extended arm action producing 80-81 mph fastballs with life. Curveball has 11/5 shape with late break for strikes. Has good feel for changeup with varying action in the zone. Overall High Follow as offensive 2B with athletic ability to compete on mound.

Long arm action with limited use of front side of throws. Moves better to glove side in making plays. With defensive adjustments shows ability to be high follow prospect as an infielder with very projectable bat.
