5-foot-6, 140 pound slim frame; 2B. During batting practice, the hitter recorded an exit velocity of 68 mph. Began in balanced stance with a wrapping load, then used a short stride to initiate his swing. Exhibits a straight-to-the-ball swing plane and has a level finish. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 75 mph;displayed soft hands. While in the infield, made throws across the field up to 70 mph; showed consistent hands. Had a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. He clocked a 60 time of 7.7 at the event. On the mound, he showed a loose arm action with an over-the-top arm angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher and shows some effort in his delivery. When pitched in sequence with his fastball, his changeup (61-62 mph) can keep hitters off balance; has some action on his fading changeup. He showed the ability to locate his curveball for a strike at 58-59 mph; showed consistent accuracy on his 12/6 curveball. He was clocked sitting at 70-72 mph. His slider (65-66 mph) had depth when it was located down by the hitter’s knees.
