2/17/18:  5-foot-9, 130 pound shortstop has quick, athletic actions defensively.  Plays the right hop.  Works through the baseball.  Throws topped 75 across.  In the box, he has a long and level bat path to contact.  Fluid load, long stride.  Average bat speed.  Line drive hitter, produced consistent hard contact.  Ran a 7.44 60 yard dash.

 
2017 Spring Scout Blog:  Sophomore shortstop showcased smooth and fluid actions in the middle infield with arm strength and carry across the diamond. The 5'10", 140 pounder has good hands, clean arm action and feet work in a good direction to throw. Made a play deep in the six hole with quick exchange and plenty of arm strength to get runner at first. Advanced shortstop for size and age. Has more strength and mass to gain to fill out the frame. Bat is still a little light, behind the defensive skills. Athletic, loose set up in the box with leg lift and stride forward to load. Weight gets heavy on the back side and barrel gets tall, creating longer path to the baseball, uphill. Creates a small arm bar entering the zone. Finishes with low extension across the chest. Has more in the swing that will develop over time with size and strength gains. Good defensive and athletic prospect in the 2019 class.

8/27/16: 5-8, 125 pound infielder showcased very soft hands up the middle with a quick exchange.  Footwork is fluid with room to get quicker as he matures physically.  At the plate, he hits from a wide, balanced setup.  Bat path is long and level.  Produced hard contact in batting practice.
