9/30/17: 5-foot-11, 150 pound southpaw has smooth rhythm and athletic movements down the mound. Throws from a 3/4 slot. Gets to consistent release point on all pitches. Fastball sat 74-78, touching 79 with arm side run. Commands the fastball well to arm side. Slider is a plus pitch, showing late depth and sweeping action at 69-70. Curveball has more downer action with ability to throw it for a strike at 64-67. Should see a velocity bump if fills in his frame.
