Hit: (RHH) Solid. Setup consists of a controlled big load and a wide athletic stance. Quick bat speed. Good extension on his finish, rotational swing. Gap to gap approach.
Power: 88 mph exit velocity, average 79.7 mph. 70.6 mph bat speed average. 22.7 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (IF) Soft hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Athletic. Movements laterally were athletic.
Arm: 84 mph infield velocity. Short arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy.
Speed: 6.80 (60-yard).
Pitching: Solid. Up-tempo delivery, high effort. Over-the-top arm angle, good arm speed, short arm action. Athletic balance point, in line shoulders, lands open, an upright finish.

1/6/2019: Brady Watts, SS/RHP, Austin HS, 2023, 5 foot 10, 135 pounds, showed athletic actions and a good arm across the diamond recoding an infield velocity of 77 mph. Bat will only get better as he continues to mature. He hits from a balanced positon, and uses a lot of movement and effort to swing. Had a max exit velo of 72 mph. On the mound Brady showed a long arm action with a max fastball velo of 72 mph. As he gets stronger and can tighten up his arm swing, his velo should jump and will also have better feel to spin the ball.
