Body: 6-foot-3, 205-pound proportional frame.
Hit: (RHH) Starts in a wide stance with a slow controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Above average bat speed. Good extension on his finish, inside-out swing.
Power: 89 mph exit velocity, average 80.62 mph. 65.73 mph bat speed average. 22.58 mph hand speed average.
Defense: (OF) Firm hands, choppy footwork, lengthy exchange. Laterally, his movements were developing.
Arm: 75 mph outfield velocity. Long arm action, an-over-the-top slot.
Speed: 8.02 (60-yard).
Pitching: Solid. Tall-and-fall delivery, some effort. Over-the-top arm angle, good arm speed, short arm action. Tall balance point, uphill shoulders, lands closed, a recoil finish.
FB: T81. 78-81 mph. (Max spin 2103; Avg 2027). In the zone accuracy, running action.
CT: 75-76 mph.
CB: 67-68 mph. Late action.
CH: 71-75 mph.
SL: 66-69 mph.
1/6/2019: Brandon Broady, RHP/3B, Charlestown HS, 2022, 6 feet, 170 pounds, Lean frame with room to add strength, Worked out of a mid ¾ slot up to 77 with his fastball, 66-71 with a CB, 66-67 SL. Breaking balls will get better with added arm speed, both had shape. As a position player, Brandon ran a 8.22 60 yard dash, had a max exit velo of 80, and max infield velo of 76 and outfield velo of 77. He needs faster footwork to be a better defender. Brandon did show ability to square balls up at the plate with a frame that can add strength.
