2/14/15: 5-foot-11, 170 pound athletic senior.  Projects more as an OF than a MIF.  From the OF possesses quick feet and plays through the ball.  Moves well laterally.  Possesses some arm strength at 85 with accuracy.  Ran a 7.20-60 at the event.  From SS showcased soft hands with a clean exchange.  Has some range.  Across the diamond was 80 mph.  Offensively, the LHH this from a tall, narrow setup.  Smooth load.  Slight toe-tap.  Closes himself off after the stride.  Quick hands with a good approach.  Line drive hitter with fluid rhythm.   Cuts himself off.  Registered an exit velo of 78 mph.  

6/25/14: A 5-foot-10, 160 pound OF/RHP with tons of athleticism.  Shows good arm strength at 86 from the OF using a long arm action.  Hands are average with quick feet and a clean exchange.  At the plate starts in a balanced setup, using a smooth load.  Stride is short with good use of lower half.  Bat speed is quick and gets to extension.  Line drive type hitter with fluid rhythm.  On the mound pitches from a 3/4 slot with a quick, short arm action.  Head snaps at release.  Fastball was up to 84 and kept down in the zone.  11/5 breaking ball sat 68-70 with a sharp break, but inconsistent.  

6/30/13: Vaughn is undersized, but an athletic 5-foot-9, 150 pound 2015 that shows athleticism and speed in the OF with a strong, accurate arm. Runs a 7.07 60. At the plate hits from the left side showcasing good bat speed, and consistently barreled up the baseball. Vaughn impressed on the mound with an 83 mph fastball with the ability to spin it.
