12/16/17:  5-foot-11, 170 pound southpaw featured a fastball up to 84mph, sitting 82-83.  Some late run with arm side command.  High intensity delivery with some rhythm.  Slight inward turn at the top of load.  Short arm circle, quick hand.  Works through a stiff front leg, finishing upright.  Slider was best off-speed pitch, showing late depth at 71-74.  Curveball was inconsistent but has gradual break at 66-68.  Right-handed hitter has a slightly open, tall setup with rhythm in his load.  Slight leg kick into heavy landing.  Long, slightly uphill bat path.  Above average bat speed.  Line drive hitter with gap to gap approach.  Defensively, throws topped 88 with similar throwing mechanics compared to mound.  Plays through the baseball.

 
12/3/16:  The 5-foot-10 160 pound outfielder showcased fast hands and some pull side pop.  He has an athletic setup with an early load and leg kick.  Tends to pull off.  Path is in/out.  High exit velocity of 85.  Defensively, the left-handed outfielder has a short, loose arm action.  Plays thru the ball well.  Throws topped at 83 from the outfield.  Gross ran a 7.26 60 yd dash.
