Compact body size with strong legs, arms and shoulders. Mature look to him now. Has an open stance start to his swing style. Two pieced approach with preload setup. Good strong barrels and hits ball hard. Small hand crack with barrel. Looks to pull ball hard as he sits on back leg and launches firm and strong barrel through the front side. Reaches for ball at times and surrounds pitches. Shows good speed and footwork on defense. Good range and quick to converge on balls hit to him. Instincts to engage the ball is good. Arm works across diamond with a full windup throw approach. Release speed to get rid of ball out of glove needs to quicken. As he learns and grows as a player, his athleticism should help this happen. Ran a 7.01 60-yard dash. As a RHP, he starts in the middle of rubber. Has quick feet side step into a full hand pump delivery. Anderson has H ¾-arm slot. His front side opens up soon, appears to be full throttle thrower on mound. He is a two-way player, as he pitches more he will smooth out and gain better overall mechanics and understanding of his style. Has arm strength and feel to play game well. Body: 5-foot-9, 160-pound athletic frame

Hit: Started in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then used a small leg kick. Average bat speed.

Power: 81 mph exit velocity.

Defense: Infield, Soft hands, consistent footwork, clean exchange. Capable. Outfield, Soft hands, consistent footwork, exchange.  Fields the ball out front movements laterally were developing.

Arm: 82 Infield velocity. Long arm action, an-over-the-top slot.

Speed: 7.16

Pitching: Solid. Tilt-and-topple delivery, high effort. Over-the-top arm angle, some arm speed, quick arm action. In line shoulders.

FB: T79. 77-78 mph.  occasional run.

CB: 62-63 mph, sweeping action

CH: 67-70 mph

SL: 68-70 mph; slurvey action 

5-foot-7, 140-pound athletic frame. In the box, the right-handed hitters best exit velocity was 76 mph. Setup consisted of balanced athletic, stance and a toe tap timing trigger. Showed a level swing plane, and level finish. From the outfield, registered velocities up to 77 mph; has sure hands and athletic footwork. In the infield, showed his ability to throw 78 mph across the diamond.  Fielded the ball to the side and showed athletic movement laterally. Throws from a low ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.26. On the mound, he had average arm speed and threw from a high ¾ angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has an athletic balance point and uphill shoulders. His fastball was clocked at 77-78 mph. Showed in the zone control on his curveball (63-64). He shows tailing action on his changeup (69-70).

9/30/18: 2022 smaller framed MIF/RHP. Hits from the right side. Slightly open setup in the box. Tends to cast hands at the baseball and weight on front foot. Bat path is level through the zone. Worked the middle of the field and RCF during round of BP. In the INF showed soft hands, exchange was clean, did tend to sit on heel and not play through the baseball at times. On the mound pitches from high 3/4 arm slot. Slower tempo to the plate with long first step. Short compact arm stroke in delivery. Good balance throughout and stays in line to plate. FB sat 68-71. Showed 11/5 shape CB at 56-57
