Morgan was a big winner from the winter and showed quality strides in his development. An ultra-projectable, 6-foot-3, 175-pound right-hander who is young for the class. Morgan features a raw delivery as he continues to learn how to sync his long-levered frame. The fastball sat 82-84 mph, touching 85 once with carry through the zone. The spin has trended well since the winter, highlighted by a 71-74 mph slider that he spun in the 2500s. He also showed a 70-71 mph curveball and an upper-70s changeup. Morgan is a young arm with considerable upside and one we will continue to monitor closely.

Positional Profile: RHP/3B
Body: 6-3, 180-pounds. Projectable frame
Delivery: Clean delivery. Lifts to a taller balance point with a smooth move down the slope. Shoulders work slightly uphill, lands slightly open, and finishes with balanced. Upside arm with a chance for jumps.
Arm Action: RH. Cleaner arm works longer to a 3/4 slot.
FB: T86, 81-85 mph. Some ride T2229, 2121 average rpm.
CB: 74-76 mph. Some depth, gradual T2243, 2169 average rpm.
CH: 77-80 mph. Sells it, some sink T1703, 1653 average rpm.

Upside arm with a chance to develop velocity in a hurry. Clean arm / delivery, low-80s (t 83) fastball played up with carry properties. Plenty of room in the projectable, 6-foot-2, 155 pound frame for strength. As velocity enhances and secondaries sharpen up, Morgan could see a serious rise as a prospect. Plenty of traits to dream on.

Morgan is a solid arm to follow in the sophomore class. The projectable, 6-foot-2, 155 pound frame has ample room for strength gains that will surely lead to velocity gains. The Carmel product showcased a loose, whippy arm that produced a fastball up to 83 mph, while also showing aptitude to spin a low-70s slider with sweeper properties for strikes.
