6-foot, 185-pound C / OF with a pop time of 1.92-2.02 and a 91 mph exit velocity. Left-handed hitter who starts in an open stance with his hands low and a slight bend in his knee. Has a big load in his hands, a level swing plane and a clean finish. Uses leg kick for power; gets off back foot well. Behind the plate, starts in a low, flexible setup; has a smooth exchange and consistent footwork; doesn't gain much ground; consistently makes strong, accurate throws on the bag; 74 mph position velocity. In OF, moves well to the ball; shows confidence in his fly ball tracking; has good arm action; throws from a 3/4 arm slot; 87 mph position velocity. Recorded a 60 time of 7.75.

6/12/18: 2020 OF/RHP who hits from the left side. Tall athletic setup in the box, uses hands as trigger with wrap. Short stride to the baseball. Showed good bat speed throughout the zone, bat path was level through zone as well. Hands were loose and free with a whippy bat. Uses lower half fairly well. In the OF plated through the baseball with good athletic movements. Showed quick exchange with a loose arm and above average arm strength at 88 with carry and accuracy to 3B and home. On the mound pitches high ¾ arm slot. Keeps hands high above shoulder throughout delivery and until break point. Stays in line throughout delivery as well. Arm stroke is short and quick. FB sat 79-81 T82. Also mixed in CB for strikes at 71-75.

4/12/18 Spring Scout Blog: 6-foot, 180 pound left handed hitting catcher hit third in the lineup, ran into a couple baseball with loud contact pull side, line drive swing. Strong frame, tall, open setup to start, dives and strides heavy onto the front side, collapses to finish. Long path to the baseball, hands work down to the ball. Average bat speed, more in the swing. Sits low, athletic behind the plate, quiet actions to receive the baseball. Long exchange and transfer, shoulders work uphill, struggled to get ball out of glove clean. Has arm strength, ball has carry across the diamond. Top prospect in the 2020 class.

7.14.17 - 5-foot-11, 185-pound left-handed hitting catcher with a strong, durable frame. Defensively has soft hands, quiet receiver. Flexible lower half. Short arm action from an over the top slot. Accurate throws with carry from the crouch. Popped 2.11 in game. Balanced setup at the plate, short level swing path. Line drive hitter with a balanced, even setup. Went to the opposite field for an RBI line drive single.

2/26/17:  The 5-foot-11, 185 pound pitcher possesses arm strength on the mound, sitting 80-83 and touching 84 as a freshman.  Drop and drive delivery, creates separation at foot strike.  Command was erratic, missing high at times.  Change-up sat 74-77 with late run and depth.  Breaking ball has tight 10/4 shape, inconsistent command.  Potential high follow in 2020 class.
