10/8/17:  5-foot-10, 160 pound left-handed pitcher has a closed setup with above average use of lower half.  Feel for 3 pitches in the zone.  Throws from a 3/4 slot with average arm speed.  Creates arm side run on fastball, sitting 76-78, touching 79.  Breaking ball has sweepy action, some depth.  Change-up showcased some late arm side run and fade.  Hits from a balanced setup with compact swing.  Stiff lower half.  Level path, average bat speed.  High exit velocity of 76.  Throws from the outfield topped at 78.  Plays through the ball with a clean exchange into long, loose arm action.

2/26/17:  The 5-foot-10, 160 pound left hander has smooth, easy rhythm with natural 3/4 slot.  Lands squared, in line.  Fastball sat 78-79 with arm side run and some down angle. Breaking ball was 66-69 with late turn, depth.  Change-up is thrown with fastball arm speed and late fade.  Shares space with all 3 pitches well.  Pitch to contact type pitcher for now, velocity should increase as he fills in physically.  Offensively, simple load and direct path to the ball.  Average bat speed.  Stiff in his lower half.  Defensively, plays through the ball well. Throws topped at 81.  Clean exchange, fluid footwork.
