2/22/14:  6-foot-2, 175 pound junior pitches from a ¾ slot with quick arm speed.  The arm action is loose.  Possesses smooth rhythm throughout the delivery with good direction and easy effort.  Mechanically is sound.  Fastball was up to 86 mph, sitting 84-85 with some run and sink.  Slider showcased sharp action at 65-68 and was consistently thrown for a strike.  Changeup sits 74-76. One of the top unsigned right handed arms in the 2015 class.  

6/29/13- Klayer shows athletic actions in the outfield with a quick arm. Klayer topped out at 87 from the outfield. Klayer showed good quickness throughout the event running a 4.47 home to first. Klayer is a switch hitter.

On the mound, Klayer projects to be a high end arm. He works slow with a good repeatable delivery. The arm is clean and shows good quickness. Topped out at 84 at the TP Games. Been up to 86 in the summer.
