Medium frame body with room to fill out. Strong legs and arms. Frame structure will hold more weight in future. Swing starts with a balanced stance that has a strong sweep to it. He has a dominant top handed swing control in finish. Power, projected to future as line drive swing path now. Barrel is strong through zone and contact is solid. As a catcher, he has squared up even balanced stance with a good arm strength. He bounced balls to 2b more than usual but slight mechanical changes will improve this. Transfer is good from glove to throw; the small adjustment is in his feet position and body position when loading to throw will not allow ball to dart downward. It will get better in future, as he is an athlete. 1.93-2.02 pop times. Hands looked soft and framed well. Ran a 7.29 60 yard dash. Arm is good and athleticism is solid to be able to play 3b and or OF in future as well. As he develops if bat continues to excel being able to be utility type is in his favor.
Hit: Right-handed hitter that starts in a balanced stance. Physical bat with a solid combination of bat speed and the ability to sequence well. Compact stroke that played to all fields. Solid round with a top exit velocity of 93mph.
Power: Easy gap pop.
Offensive Projection: Middle ceiling.
Field: Classic corner profile. Plays with an aggressive tempo and serviceable ball skills. Also worked out behind the dish where he had a solid showing. Good athlete with feel for the spot. Utility type defender.
Throw: Above average strength with more to come.
Defensive Projection: Corner guy.
