2017 Spring Scout Blog:  Uncommitted senior was solid from the leadoff spot with a single, triple and two runs scored. The 6'1", 170 pounder swings it from the right side with quiet, athletic approach in the box. Small front foot lift to load, lands slightly open in balanced position. Hands are quiet with good path to the baseball. Barrel works in good path, slightly uphill to contact and through extension. Has some twitch and more separation to gain in the swing. Stayed in his legs well on swings. Plus runner with 6.6 speed on the bases and outfield. Short arm swing with a average arm/carry from the outfield. Covered a lot of ground. Athletic prospect in the 2017 class.

6/21/16:  A 6 foot 1 170 pound outfielder ran a 6.58 laser timed 60yd dash.  At the plate, he has some twitch.  Bat speed is above average with a level path.  Backside tends to collapse.  Defensively, hands are average and arm strength topped at 85 from the outfield.  Arm action is short and ball has some carry.  Exchange is clean and footwork is choppy.  Produced an exit velo of 88.

2/20/16: 6-foot-1, 165 pounder ran a 6.63-60 and was 79 from the OF.  Short, ¾ arm action with some accuracy.  Hits from a crouch with wide feet.  Short stride.  Backside collapses.  Average bat speed.  Line drive type hitter.  High exit velocity of 82.
