3/3/18:  6-foot-4, 195 pound left-handed hitter has present bat speed with barrel control.  Athletic, rhythmic swing.  Balanced load, leg kick timing trigger. Gap to gap power present.  Extension post-contact.  High exit velocity of 94.  Defensively, hands are sure with clean exchange.  Has feel for the bag.  On the mound, he sat 78-80, touching 81 with the fastball.  Good balance, regular effort.  Strike thrower.  Projects as a hitter.

 
2/19/17: Projectable frame at 6-foot-4, 180 pounds.  Left-handed hitter hits from a wide, open setup, leg kick timing trigger, loads back with an arm.  Good use of his lower half.  Plus swing plane, long path.  Tendency to make contact deep in the zone.  Showcased pull-side power during his BP.  Above average bat speed.  Overall great approach at the plate with lots of projection. Registered a high exit velocity of 87 mph.  Defensively, throws topped out at 79 mph.  Clean exchange, plays through the baseball with fluid footwork.  Purdue commit.
