10/8/17:  Physical frame at 6-foot-2, 185 pound catcher and corner infielder.  Athletic movements in the box.  Fluid load and quick barrel turn.  Long path to contact.  Line drive approach with gap to gap power.  High exit velocity of 84.  Behind the plate, footwork and exchange are quick.  Pops up out of crouch.  Short, loose arm action.  Throws topped 74 with accuracy.  Pop times ranged between 2.05-2.16.  Above average hands both behind the plate and at third base.  Projects as a catcher.

2/19/17: 6-foot-1, 175 pounds.  RHH hits form an open setup, smooth back, small leg kick timing trigger.  Above average bat speed, long/level-to slightly uphill swing path.  Line drive type hitter with fluid rhythm.  Overall good approach at the plate with an average lower half.  Registered a high exit velocity of 88 mph. Defensively, low arm slot, floppy arm action, gets long at times, throws topped out at 73 from the crouch.  Transfer is clean, long at times. Needs to quicken up the footwork.  Produced pop times of 2.08-2.25. Defensively at 3B fields the ball out front with good hands.  Fluid footwork. Short ¾ arm action, throws topped out at 78 mph.  Ran a 7.47 in the laser-timed 60 yard dash. 

6/21/16: The 6 foot 1 175 pound catcher produced pop times that ranged between 2.01-2.11.  Footwork is fluid with average arm strength.  Tendency to get long in the arm action.  At the plate, Sam hits from an athletic setup and good balance.  Incorporates a leg kick with above average usage of the lower half.  Bat speed is fast with a level path.  Showcased fluid actions offensively.

7/27/15: 6-foot-1, 165 pound receiver was 2.25-2.34 with his pop times and 67 from the crouch.  Really open setup behind the dish.   Stays low and comes through the ball well.  In the field showcased average hands.  Exchange was clean, but packs.  Plays through the ball well.  Lowe ¾ arm action across the field at 70 mph.  Offensively hits out of an athletic, open setup.  Smooth load, short stride.  Up the middle approach with a level path.  Line drive type hitter with some bat speed.  Recorded a high exit velocity of 80 mph.
