XL 6-5ish 205 pounder with physical presence. Long, stabby arm action on the back side. Delivery is efficient and he gets down the slope well. FB plays w occ cut in low-80s and up to 84 at this event. CB is go to offering, spinning in the 2400s, w sharp downer bite at 70-71.

Intriguing 2027 arm with big spin metrics. 6-foot-4, 205 pound frame looks the part. Drop-and-drive delivery. Long takeaway with semi-stab before bringing the ball back near his head and allowing arm to spiral to 3/4 slot. Low-70s breaking ball is best offering, spins in the 25-2600 range with two-plane shape and sharp break. 84-86 FB plays with some deception from quirky arm action. Flashed serviceable change at 78-79. Will rise in our next update with a couple quality outings on the circuit this summer.

+ '27 RHP Sam Swaim (Terre Haute South) was an intriguing watch with a physical, 6-foot-4, 195 pound frame. The projectable righty gets to a big inward turn at balance point before a drop and drive move down the slope. He lands slightly closed with a one-piece rotational move to finish. The arm action has some funk to it, working with length out the glove before coming back to the ear and unfolding to a high 3/4 slot. He sat in the low-80s with some heaviness to the heater, spinning north of 2400. His best pitch is his breaking ball, spinning it at over 2700 on average at 70-72 with big two-plane shape. The curveball averaged over 15" of sweep and over a foot of depth, a swing-and-miss offering that was also his best commanded pitch. Swaim is an interesting follow with outlier spin and a frame to bet on.
