During batting practice, had an exit velocity of 94 mph, showing his ability to drive the ball with power. Track Man Exit Velo 69.72. Begins in an athletic stance with a controlled wrapping load, then uses Short swing stride to start his swing. Bat speed is electric, displays a simple swing plane and high finish. Found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 75 mph; shows Sure hands, a quick exchange and athletic feet. Had a long arm action and an-over-the-top slot.
5-foot-10, 180-pound frame; OF/RHP. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 77 mph. Starts in a balanced stance with a small load, then uses a short stride just before his swing. Shows a flat swing plane and average bat speed, and he ends his swing with good extension on his finish. From the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 73 mph; displayed fluid footwork and average hands. Showed a short arm action and an-over-the-top slot. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.09.
